Multidisciplinary Designer building and managing brand systems end-to-end | PMP-certified DesignOps | Bilingual (English and Spanish)

ABOUT ME

I'm a multidisciplinary designer who builds and manages brand systems. I define visual identities or execute existing ones across web, product, motion, and print, so the whole system holds together across products and locations.

For the past decade I've done that work at some of the most visible science institutions in the world. At the NSF–DOE Vera C. Rubin Observatory I led the full in-house rebrand after the observatory was renamed by the U.S. Senate, delivering a complete visual identity and saving an estimated $200,000–$250,000 by keeping the work internal. I'm very proud to have produced the three flagship videos for the First Look event, the public debut of the observatory's first images, which reached close to 3 billion impressions in a single week. Earlier, at the ALMA Observatory in Chile, I designed the bilingual public portal, a national touring exhibition seen by more than 100,000 people, and an educational video series watched by hundreds of thousands more.

I can take complex science and make it clear and worth caring about, an ability that goes beyond astronomy and transfers to any scientific endeavor with a story to tell.

I work fluently with AI, treating it as a resource rather than a crutch, while keeping taste, judgment, and human connection at the center. I'm bilingual (English and Spanish) and design across languages and cultures, coordinating distributed production teams along the way. I'm also PMP certified, which means I run creative teams as operations, with briefs, budgets, vendors, and timelines that hold.

I'd be delighted to connect with you and learn what I can do for you!
